About Salman
Award-winning Pakistani DP-Fixer Salman Idris Qazi has been associated with electronic media since 1998. With extensive experience working with both national and international media organizations, he excels in producing feature reports, documentaries, and live ENG/EFP. Salman owns Midbrain Films, a production company based in Islamabad, and works as a freelance video journalist, DP, shooter-editor, fixer, and producer.
Currently, he freelances with prestigious outlets such as Voice of America, Fact Story, TRT World, Al Jazeera TV’s AJ+, World Inside Out, and CRI China Radio International, focusing on features and news stories. Salman has produced several documentaries for Saudia TV, Channel News Asia, NHK TV, Fuji TV, Sky News Arabia, Business Insider, Now This, Zinc Media, and TRT World. His international experience includes news coverage, feature reports, and documentaries in Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Germany, Belgium, Holland, the USA, and Azerbaijan.
